![]() OPEN MIC POETRY AT CORAZON THEME: POEMS FOR PARKLAND SUNDAY March 25 The Ancient City Poets and 100 Thousand Poets for Change will host a community open mic reading on Sunday March 25 from 3:00 to 4:30 at Corazon Cinema and Cafe (36 Granada Street, across from the Lightner Museum). Saint Augustine Speaks is an open mic series that offers poets of all skill levels an opportunity to share their poems with a loving and supportive audience. This event is one of many held in Florida during the month of March to offer support, comfort, and compassion to those affected by the Parkland, Florida shooting. The microphone will be turned on at 3:00 pm and all are encouraged to share poems that relate to the theme. A sign-up sheet will be provided and readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the list. The mic will be turned off at 4:30 to allow the last 30 minutes for a meet and greet and networking. Here is the Facebook event invite: https://www.facebook.com/events/596927243978114/ In order to keep these gatherings free of charge, we do ask that you patronize the Corazon and thank them for opening their doors to poetry and spoken word and performance art.
