MOTHER IS THE THEME FOR MAY
On Sunday May 25th join the Ancient City Poets for an afternoon of poetry. The festivities will start with the Mother of All Workshops at The Gallery Cafe of St. Augustine (located at 1974 US-1, in the OLD Staples Plaza). Dotty Loop will lead this fun and engaging hour-long event. Please register at 1:45. The ACP Plant-A-Poem workshop is from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Using the styles of these famous poets, she will encourage you to experiment with your own. Bring pen and paper.

Chris Bodor and the Ancient City Poets encourage you to jump on the Twitter.com bandwagon. Can you write a poem in 140 characters? How about a "Hashtag Haiku"? Give it a try and add the hashtag AncientCityPoets. The group will read the poems at their monthly poetry readings on the last Sunday of every month in Saint Augustine, Florida - The Nation's Oldest City. Of course you can also read your own poem tweet.
