Let your poetic words flow through the Waterworks and through the streets of our arts community.
Ancient City Poets invite you to share your original poetry. It will be an open theme, so anything goes. Show us what you've got. Share your polished poems or bust out some fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine, Florida’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three.
The Ancient City Poets series has always been open to the public. There is no charge at the door and no charge to get your name on the list to read.
If you would like to share a poem, please see the facilitator at 2:30 to get your name on the list, on the day of the event. There is space for 15 poets at 5 minutes each. At 3:00 PM, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.
Access the building through the Main Branch Library parking lot, then follow the brick path for additional parking in the back.

ACP YOUTUBE SPOTLIGHT - ROMANZA 2020
This month's flashback is from Romanza two years ago when the entire festival went virtual because of the global pandemic. Dan Bagan was kind enough to round up Ancient City Poets in his magical garage band studio for spirited readings in front of his camera. Chris Bodor introduced the poets from inside the bell tower of Trinity Parish on the Square. Check out Robert Waldner and musician Sam Pacetti in this month's spotlight.
News to use for the Ancient City Poets, Poet Plant Press, and Chris Bodor poetry projects.
